May 1943 until August 1945 on port duties in West Africa. Exact location not recorded.

CIVIL USE

1948 – Sold to a W.G.Garside

1949 – Bought by Capt J.L.McCorquodale of Lismore and renamed “Lady Isle”. (Do not confuse with VIC9 which was also named “Lady Isle” but only after this one was lost. This later vessel is referred to in the index as “Lady Isle (2)

11 August 1956 she ran aground at Scarinish on Tiree. Salvage attempts were abandoned due to gales, which caused further extensive damage and she was eventually declared a total loss. Fortunately, all of her crew were rescued.
