GOVERNMENT SERVICE

On service in the UK on MOWT duties until May 1943 when she moved to port duties with West Africa Command in Gambia where in 1946 she was transferred to the ownership of the government of Gambia.

CIVIL USE

In early January 1951 when on passage from Bathurst from Bissao in ballast and runnning short of fuel she was steamed into the Casamance River to anchor but the strong current beached her on the river bank, breaking her screw. A couple of weeks later she was refloated and towed to the port of Zighinkor and soon afterwards withdrawn from the register.
