CIVIL USE

Sold to H Sandoy in Norway in 1961 and renamed "Sandale".  In 1962 she was lengthened to 109 feet with a new grt of 171.

In 1963 as "Sandal" she was bought by F S Hansen also in Norway who fitted her with a new oil engine in 1970. In 1986 she was bought by F Sandfrakt.

It's hard to believe that both shots below are of the same ship. On the left in naval service, and on the right as a very smart little coaster, probably after re-engining in 1970.
