Built for C&J Lamont of Tiree but later bought by J & J Hay in 1924 and renamed "Spartan". Despite several references to this vessel there is no real information about her until the record of her loss.which tells that in 1946 while still on service with the Admiralty she sank after hitting a mine off the Isle of Lismore in the Firth of Lorne.

Both photographs below show her in her time as "Tiree", that on the left at Crinan while on the right she is on the Clyde Estuary
