I can find no official trace of this vessel other than her wreck record in the Canmore database at RCHAMS, where she is described as a steam lighter.  She was owned and skippered by a Capt McLeod when on 13th March 1871 on passage from West Harbour Greenock to Shandon on the Gareloch with a cargo of manure she sank during a heavy squall. It is stated that "it is feared she will not be recovered: crew saved"
