Built by Burrell for Dugald Macphail of Crinan. In 1908 she was bought from him by Sir Richard Williams-Bulkeley of Beaumaris , 12th baronet Penrhyn in the County of Caernarvon, What need he had of a puffer we might never know..

The Clydebuilt database advises that she was sold on to Portuguese owners in 1911 for use along the Brazilian coast. Broken up in 1925
