Not a lot is known of this puffer except that was a regular carrier of coal to the Islands, particularly Arran, in the Clyde Estuary

The photograph below is undated and does not name the puffer, but in the early part of the 20th century two locally-owned puffers were the mainstays of the coal runs to Blackwaterfoot: "Number 10" and the Maisie.  This is definately not "Number 10" and so on the possibility that it might well be Maisie - here she is :
