Built for an initially owned by owned and managed by Capt Malcolm Campbell of Glasgow. By 1930 she is registered to Alexander Campbell and in 1940 to Duncan Campbell, all at the same address and so presumably related to Malcolm. 

In February 1954 she hit Sgorr Sgaileach off the Isle of Eiggand sank before she could be beached. Later, McNeill's puffer "Lythe" sank after hitting the wreck of the Jennie while trying to salvage her cargo.
