Built for Angus MacTavish of Ardrishaig before in 1906 being sold on to the Clyde Salvage Co Ltd of Glasgow, and then in 1907 to John Wilson of Leith.

Clydeships recirds her as havig been sunck and refloated in 1906 and subsequently lengthened to 77.2 feet (107 grt) that same year, presumably as part of the repair process, by the Adrsossan Dry Dock and Shipbuilding Co.

In 1907 she suffered an engine failure and was wrecked south of Birling Car Rock, Alnmouth, Northumberland. Two of her crew were lost; the others being rescued by the Alnmouth lifeboat
