Built for Charles Hendry of Hunter's Quay. In 1919 she was sold to Rea & Co on the Mersey.

The photograph below of her alongside at Hunter's Quay is undated but the presence of the Glasgow and South Western Railway Co's paddle steamer Minerva places it prior to 1916 when Minerva entered Royal Naval service, from which she was only released in 1924 before being sold to owners in Turkey.

The sailing vessel is representative of many of a similar size and design which plied the Clyde and West Coast waters at the turn of the century and it is unlikely that we will ever get a positive ID on her. The small steam fishing boat carries the registered number GK 163 or GK165 which tells us she was Greenock-based but so far I have been unable to unearth any fishing vessel records of this era to throw any further light on her.
