Built by Browns for Donald McEwan , Master Mariner, of Lochgair, Inverary to replace his earlier Eisa , which had been sold on to Spanish owners in 1901.

Her 1910 entry in the MNL shows her owned by W.J.Holway of Cardiff. Subsequently owned by W.R.Metcalfe, also of Cardiff .

In the intervening period, could that be her misidentified as Isa at Paisley in 1907?
