Built to replace their earlier vessel of the same name which had sunk in Loch Na Keil, Mull, earlier the same year.  Just like her namesake she was to sink and be salvaged to sail again.  This later Cretan went down off Bogany point at the entrance to Rothesay Bay in November 1954. Raised, she continued in service until being scrapped in 1965.

The photograph below, taken by Eric Hammal in 1960, shows her at the old Stone Pier at Lamlash on the Isle of Arran. Another unidentified Hay puffer is on the east face of the pier behind her.
