Built at Greenock for Alexander Ross of that same  port. Although the builder cannot be confirmed. it is most likely to have been Ross himself. By 1920 she is registered to Wm Campbell, also of Greenock. Her final MNL entry in 1930 shows her with James Warnock of Paisley.

Angus MacKinnon, researching the history of shipbreaking at Troon, has discovered a record of an 80 ton steam lighter of the same name arriving there for demolition by West of Scotland Shipbreakers Ltd in 1934. (link to be added)
