Built at Blackhill, presumably by DM Cumming, she is recorded in the 1890 MNL as registered tor John Hay of Glasgow. By 1900 she is registered to Thomas Arthur Rigby of Frodsham. Re-registered in London in 1901 she is recorded in the 1910 MNL as owned by Charles and Hugh Kerr of Liverpool. by 1920 she is owned by United Grain Elevators of Bootle, Her register entry is closed in 1930.

The photograph below has no caption but that looks like a Hay funnel and so presumably is pre-1900. Her hatch covers are visible stacked for'ard of the funnel and could that be logs she is loading?
